Have you ever considered how to ensure that the people who bought from your online store was satisfied? That was the reason of me thinking about the use of videos.
I know that we are living in a world of instant gratification, of shopping on our smart phones and buying apps on our laptop. But you know what? I don't mind it one bit. Especially when I'm buying from an online store. In this world where instant gratification and being able to find what we are looking for in a matter of seconds is very prevalent, the use of videos really helps boost sales.
A number of online shoppers have told me that they watched at least five videos before they buy. Which means that your online store and all the products you are selling is safer if you use videos in your sales copy.
How do videos boost sales? Well, videos are what makes the sales copy and marketing and promotions online effective.
You need to watch at least five videos, or a total of at least twenty minutes, and these videos should explain the benefits of your product, why you need it, how it is going to solve a problem, the advantages of your business and how you are going to execute and make it work. The videos should be easy to follow and explain the benefits of your product in your language, even if you know nothing about your product. And of course, you need to have testimonials from your customers who have used your product and what they had to say about it. It is the easiest way of getting up and running with videos in your store.
And you can't forget the closing arguments. Videos are what closes and convinces the people in the ages that your business is the one they should trust. You need to keep the video up to date and make sure your website was not making visitors leave in disgust because your website wasn't up to date. With videos you don't have to explain why your products are good, why you need your visitors to trust you and give you their money in a safe way. Videos give you those arguments and you can let the benefits of your product do the talking.
To your success
Paul
